When I first trained to be a healer at Stockport Christian Spiritualist Church the Healer was a lady named Renee and she would stand behind the patient and the trainee would sit by the patients feet on a small sloping stool which you may remember seeing in a Shoe Shop.
The trainee would hold the patients hands and in this particular case it was a young woman and Renee told me that she was grieving, but did not elaborate. The healing began and I held her hands and quickly I found that my tears were falling like rain on the carpet beneath. I took this as a part of my development because I know that my mind and body play their part in the healing process and that they have to be sufficiently strong to do so if further development is to take place.
Another case concerned a young man who stacked shelves during the night at Tesco and he had his hands crushed and I moved towards him to offer help, but he pulled away quickly saying "That's hot" so no healing took place. Looking back I realised that he had not had any time to to go to Casualty to receive treatment.
Whilst I was unemployed I was a part of a group on a course and they new that I was a healer and one of the group said that she had had a kidney removed, but still felt some discomfort. I placed my hands upon her shoulders which was all I could do at the time and I heard later that she had felt a burning sensation on the side of the missing kidney and she felt no further discomfort. The lady who was a tutor of the group also asked me to help her with her bask pain and she told me that she felt an improvement.
My last case of healing at Stockport Christian Spiritualist Church was a young woman with arthritis and as I met her at the door as we were leaving she said for everyone to hear that she was cured. I hoped that it was lasting.
One of my most striking cases involved a lady who was a golfing friend of my parents who had come away from a Chiropractor with back trouble and I would call and see her on my way back home from healing at Old Road. I did this for a number of weeks and then upon the final time she asked me to give some healing to her husband without saying what it was for. I placed my hands upon his shoulders in preparation for scanning his Aura to sense where any problem areas might be and there they stayed. At the end of the healing he shivered and said that that was cold. My parents told me a few days later that he had died the following day from Cancer.
Whilst I was on a training course I was told by the Tutor that there was a young woman starting who would have to stand up because she had suffered damage to the base of her spine. The Tutor arranged for me to give her healing in the presence of the Nurse and she was able to stand.
On another course one of the lads there told me as we were walking to the car park that he had a bad headache. I placed two fingers at the base of his skull on his neck and he told me immediately that the headache had gone.
Best wishes to all,
David,
Healer, Region 10
