200 Hour Pathway
MENTORING STUDENT SUPPORT
Students please book your place by contacting (email or phone) Karen in the office by 2pm on the last Wednesday of the month, for the Supervised Healing or the Code of Conduct Session to take place on the1st Wednesday of the following month.
Let Karen know if you wish to take part in the Healing Supervision and whether you will have one or two clients present or if you wish to take part in the Code of Conduct.
Karen will send the Student list to Linda Hartley (Mentoring Team Leader) who will then contact the number of Mentors needed.
No late bookings will be accepted due to time needed to organise
If you are an experienced healer and would like to join the Mentor Team please contact the office for the Mentor permission form
Criteria to attend these sessions:
1. A student can attend the Online Supervised Healing evenings once they have completed Parts 1 and 2 of the THT Training, are fully conversant with the Chair Healing Process and can be observed offering healing to a client.
2. The student must also have had prior practice with family, friends, other healers, students or at a healing centre so the online supervision is adding to what they have already learned. Normally a Tutor or Mentor will let a student know when they feel that the student is confident enough in the chair healing (and or Couch healing after completing Part 3) to take part in the online supervision as it is one avenue to gaining the required 40 hours supervised healing practice.
3. The Code of Conduct is an optional add on after the student has completed the healing supervision session. Sometimes this cannot be provided if there are not enough Supervisors available on the evening.
