About The Healing Trust

 

The Healing Trust is the new working name of The NFSH Charitable Trust Ltd (Charity No 1094702). Our pan-denominational organisation is the largest and oldest membership organisation of Spiritual Healers in the UK. Founded in 1954, we strive to raise the standards and awareness of healing in the UK and overseas by providing:

 

  • National standards of training delivered by accredited trainers
  • A minimum 2 years’ training period with national standards of final assessment
  • Professional Code of Conduct, disciplinary procedures, professional insurance
  • Over 50 Healing Centres throughout the UK, staffed by volunteer members
  • Accreditation of independent voluntary centres that meet Healing Trust standards

 

The word Spiritual originates from the Latin 'spiritus' meaning 'breath of life'.

 

Healing can be defined as regaining balance of mind, body and/or emotions.

 

Spiritual Healing is a natural energy therapy that complements conventional medicine by treating the whole person - mind, body and spirit. Healers are thought to act as a conduit for healing energy, the benefits of which can be felt on many levels, including the physical.

Reiki 2 at Central Office


We are now offering Reiki Course 2 to active or lapsed Healer Members and Students who have completed and assimilated Parts 1 to 4.


As you may be aware, Reiki is in fact a Japanese form of spiritual healing and involves connecting to the highest level of energy or “Source” as the healer perceives it. Like NFSH Healing, Reiki is offered in many different contexts. Very often individual clients, patients or healthcare settings will have specific preferences and it is for this reason, that many of our members are choosing a dual training so that they can offer whichever energy channelling option feels appropriate for the individual or environment concerned.


The course is to be held in Region 5 here at Central Office, Northampton as follows:


  • Reiki 2 – Sat 9th and Sun 10th October 2010 at a cost of £135 (you will need to bring a packed lunch please).
