A few years ago, I got a call from a lady asking if I could heal animals, as her beloved cat had just been diagnosed with stomach cancer, with a dark patch showing on an X-ray of its stomach. The vet had told her it was inoperable and terminal. I replied that I had not yet treated any animals but would be happy to try, as the principle was the same as for people. In line with our Code of Conduct, the lady agreed to get permission from her vet before seeing me. I asked her to bring a blanket that we could put the cat on. We agreed to 3 healing sessions over 3 weeks.
Session 1 was quite an eye-opener. To my usual background music, we gingerly put the cat on its blanket between us on my settee. We spent the next ten minutes getting it back into position, as it kept jumping off to explore my home and views into my back garden. Eventually the cat settled down, with me keeping my hands over its crown and eyes to stop it staring out of the windows whenever it heard any kind of birdsong. Although I had tried my very best, I wasn’t sure how things had gone. However, the lady phoned me two days later, saying that her cat’s appetite had improved.
Our second session was more or less a re-run of the first, with us only eventually getting the cat to stay put on the settee. The lady again phoned me two days later, saying that her cat’s stools were now much firmer. So far, so good I told her, crossing my fingers.
Our final session went a lot easier, with the cat relaxing on the settee almost straight away. Encouraged by this, during the healing I began to slowly move my hands away from the cat’s head and along its back. As I did this, the cat rolled its tummy up so that I could put my hands directly over its stomach. We were amazed by the cat’s response. The lady told me that she would be taking the cat for another X-ray as soon as possible and agreed to let me know the result. A week or so later, the lady phoned me to say that there was no sign of the dark patch on the new X-ray. A year later, almost to the day, the lady phoned me again to say that her cat was as fit as a fiddle.
